The Works
Wish i never left you on the corner,
just a block from your place.
Said that we where over,
should have thrown that idea in your face.
Put up a fight, at least an argument.
--------------------------------------------------------
Starry night
the wind runs cold
wrap my arms
your sweater unfolds
kiss me darling
hold me close
this night will end
but ill see you again
no vacancy
my heart is closed
--------------------------------------------------------
The winter seems prettier with a girl around my thighs.
The cold feels bearable with a bosom upon my skin..
Sweet wet lips to feel, and kiss.
--------------------------------------------------------
Coffee, tea? Just dont say yes please.

so mind your P's and Q's but honey i need a tiger when we're in doors
--------------------------------------------------------
You had me at hello until i said goodbye
Ran at the words "together forever"
Its killing me for us to be apart
You seem to think we're meant to be

What i want is what they got. Security in a job, a strong relationship, success. My mistakes and my flaws make me nothing more than what they wish they could be. I am free in all the ways they are not.
(Untitled)
When all the wit you saved up is gone. What then. Your sappy love song. The twisted thriller. Who's to write the next epic trilogy we all have to see in theaters? Poems, novels, scripts, even news paper articles. Prized works are rejected, shelved, reduced to paragraphs, or left in early production. What a 42 year old toddler will poop out after lunch. These are today's grand masterpieces. Its bad enough i cant stand beach towns. I now have to wait in line to see a movie about one, with twice the smug hippies. Pay $10 to see a high school movie about douche bags that The Real World wouldn't even consider casting.
Hurricane Riot
Like the violent riot that she is.
Screams.
"Why would you do this".
"To me".
Angry from my ways.
And what did i say.
Said nothing at all.
Its not about you
When my hands get heavy. That's when i know I'm drunk. At least on the cusp of so and buzzed. When my eyes start to water, that's when i know I'm talking about the wrong thing that will make me emotional and i stop. Its when i cant feel the hot breath of cigarette smoke billow down my throat that I'm smoking to hard. I know I'm talking to the right drunk call when i cant stop going on about the ways i like them.
Its when out of the corner of my eye i see someone approaching. I turn full on to look. Its a tree, or a jacket over a chair that's spinning. These make me aware that I'm un-sane. Random depression, hatred for 80% of the people i see on the street. Knowing id care less if most of my worries died with beer. Id lie if i told you I'm okay.
I can count on my hands, and yours how many times Ive been told not to. Never to put all of me into what i do. What i do with relationships, friendships. My heart floats around me like a satellite. Considered to be replaced from its wear and tear. Id lie if i told you that poem wasn't about you.
Conversation Overlord
A nation full of socialites and anti-socialites hiding behind screen names, gamer tags, and avatars. A society that spends more time detailing their profiles with sparkling graphics then having physical interactions with strangers. Selling your self with each conceited, desperate for attention word. Fists fulls of children, adults, and well aged persons take their clever comebacks out on each other. Using quick wit, and fierce words in epic armor swinging legendary swords. We make up the binary life styles of nicotine, caffeine, and a lack of dieting.
Its funny when we say things are funny. Open sentence. "Its funny but..." You don't even laugh. We make more of a mini seizure moving our shoulders up and down rapidly. I notice the way people end a paragraph of babble that leaves no opening for a retort. I call this, dead sentence. Destroyer of conversations.
The Works
I cant even seem to finish a whole cigarette let alone a simple poem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Call this my body you call it a canvas.
Paint your pretty red lips on me.
Sketch the aftermath of our war scene,
on the lines down my back.
Breath dangerous thoughts into my ears.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't say those words
your kindles eyes
don't seem to agree
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your beds so warm for me
when your cold to me.
Your eyes still stair at me
when your backs to me
